Read My Story:

Hi, I'm Lynn Beasley and yes, I dreamed of being an orthopedic surgeon. Instead, I became interested in Biomechanics at the University of West Florida and began working with my professor, Dr. Cynthia Tant. At 22 I started watching golf and became fascinated by the physics of the golf swing. After graduation in 1996, with a BS in Sports Science, I moved west and worked my way into a personal fitness training position at The Pacific Athletic Club, Pacific Palisades, CA. While working and training, I attended California State University, Northridge and obtained my MS in Kinesiology/Biomechanics in 2002. My research focused on “Ground Reaction Forces in Low versus High Handicap Golfers”.

This focus on golf led me to start hitting golf balls. But fate put me with Craig Chapman, better known as Chappy. After working with him for an hour, he told me to come back in a week. I worked every day that week on golf drills he had given me. A week later, after a lesson, I said "What do you think, pro in a year?" He looked at me like I was out of mind but, I was DEAD SERIOUS.

I worked every day on golf drills. Golf lessons and fitness training continued for 13 months. I never actually played on a golf course, just golf drills. After 13 months of concentrated practice, I started playing on a golf course.
It took me 6 months to get my handicap to a +1. I went to the Futures qualifying school to see how I compared to other players. Keep in mind, I never played in a golf tournament, not even a scramble. I'm not going to tell you I shot lights out at Q-school but I played well enough to get status on the tour. A PROFESSIONAL TOUR!!!!

The combination of a great coach, disciplined practice, physical fitness and understanding the physics of the swing helped me turn pro in less than 2 years after I picked up a golf club. My "Total Golf Swing System" is a comprehensive, science-based, golf swing and fitness program designed for beginners to advanced golfers.
